01 - AGES

1. Ages must be taken from the 1st September

2. Students entered under the wrong age are subject to disqualification

3. Students in full time training are not permitted to enter

4. Pointe work will only be accepted in our Teen and Senior categories. Pointe work is not allowed in the Novice category. 

02 - CATEGORIES

1. All choreography must be original (not repertoire) and the choreographer should be made aware about the entry.

2. We now offer Solos, Duets, Trios, Quartets, Small Groups and Large Groups. 

3. Musical Theatre must contain song and dance however the split is completely down to the choreographer, it does not need to be 50/50.

4. Open Category encompasses all other dance genres and they will be adjudicated together in their age groups. 

5. Novice entries are only available for Junior and Intermediate and Senior age soloists.

6. Any entry caught not qualifying for the Novice section, but entering in it anyway will be moved to our Standard section. 

7. A maximum of 3 acrobatic moves are permitted in other styles that are not Acro. (Acro moves are considered as; any tumbling skills, weight baring on the hands or the head, if unsure, please feel free to query this with us.)

8. All Musical Theatre and Song and Dance must be performed to backing track with no backing vocals. 

9. All Tap must be performed to a song or Acapella with no recorded beats laid over the track. 

10. A small group is 4-9 members and a large group is 10+.

03 - AWARDS & PLACEMENT

1. All sections will be judged by an independent adjudicator. 

2. The adjudicators decision is final and will not be changed, nor will refunds be given. 

3. All participants will receive their e-certificates, feedback and prizes within 30 days of the closing date. 

4. All feedback will be personally tailored to each student.
